Age is just a number really… and every age has its beauty. I think as women we need to embrace our age, celebrate it. To be honest, I actually feel better now in my late 50s than when I was young. Sure, things are slipping and sliding, there’s hair in weird places and things don’t work quite as well as they once did but it’s ok; just need to be more gentle with myself. Take things more slowly, relax. It’s all good.
So many of the women I admire, am inspired by, are now over 50. Maybe it’s just a peer thing… and maybe it’s that with age there often comes confidence, wisdom, a certain softness, resilience.
