As we move into our 50s , we can suddenly find ourselves at the edge of our comfort zone – facing new territory or coping with imposed or unexpected transitions. It can be exciting or terrifying or both at the same time.
Change, even when welcomed or desired, can be daunting. Take time in nature to think. Time to get focused, clarify your aim, release your intentions and fears.
The programme is designed to help you get unstuck and thrive, relocate your North Star! Full of authentic, off the beaten track, culinary and creative adventures, this 1 week retreat has been specially curated to help you find your inner peace, feel grounded and inspired, and delight in the poetry of the wonders of nature.
You’ll encounter the 5 elements and experience the Blue Zone principles for a long and healthy life.
This is a coaching in nature retreat in the heart of one of the world’s Blue Zones.
Imagine a week immersed in a Mediterranean paradise filled with hill walking, forest bathing, encounters with waterfalls, a pilgrimage with a nature expert, an overnight stay in hobbit houses in an ultra-pure ‘pastoral’ mountain retreat, meditation and mindfulness practices in nature, healthy authentic Blue Zone culinary adventures, creative inspiration with local artisans, an archery lesson, mystical and mysterious prehistoric sacred ruins, and glorious sunrises.
Programme itinerary
- DAY 1: Arrival in Cagliari & orientation, travel to our first Blue Zone village, Perdasdefogu or ‘fire stones’, and a welcome group dinner;
- DAY 2: Travel to our second Blue Zone village Villagrande Strisaili, stopping to visit Pranu Mutteddu, the Stonehenge of Sardinia;
- DAY 3: Find inspiration on a journey to the mask-making artisans of Mamoiada and, for dinner, near Oliena, enjoy a special Sardinian meal using 100 year old recipes;
- DAY 4: Focus on your deepest desires and purpose on a pilgrimage to a remote rustic shepherds’ refuge under the full Hunter’s Moon where we’ll sleep in hobbit houses, a walk in the wild with forest and water play and a local Blue Zone nature guide;
- DAY 5: Reflect on your aims for going forward and leave behind what no longer serves you on the road back to ‘civilisation’, followed by an authentic Blue Zone culinary experience;
- DAY 6: On the road back to Cagliari, we’ll release your intentions and everything holding you back in an archery lesson, a dip in the sea, and a farewell group dinner;
- Day 7: Cagliari farewell breakfast circle and departure.
Lodging and Meals
The retreat is a journey through the Blue Zone of Sardinia and we’ll be staying in different places along the way – each with its own unique charm.
We’ll overnight in cosy B&Bs or Agriturisms along the journey.
Double rooms on a shared accommodation basis (twin beds).
The places where you will stay are more than just nice: authentic, with a good atmosphere. They all bring you back to original, pure, rich simplicity, simple richness. Often elegant, tasteful, not in a superficial way, but being themselves.
A welcome pack will be sent to you once you’ve booked with more practical details on what to pack etc., information on the programme and a few light pre-retreat reflection tasks plus instructions for setting up our pre-retreat video call.
In the hobbit dwelling you will be provided with everything you need for a good night’s sleep. You will be in the remote areas of the ancient mountains, far from luxury and away from your comfort zone. The rugged, rustic and real beauty of this exclusive location is memorable and makes a lasting impression on all visitors. This is perhaps the most valuable occasion of the week, despite its simple appearance.
The retreat is on a full board basis. You’ll enjoy freshly prepared breakfasts and dinner in a hotel or restaurant. Each day you will have a healthy picnic lunch, with local Sardinian products only. Meals include proudly made local wine and home-made liquor and healthy mineral rich water and coffee/tea. There will be regular refreshment stops included.

This 1 week full immersion walk and talk coaching and creative journey retreat experience is 2222€ per person.

- All transfers included in the programme destinations and visits, starting from and ending in Cagliari
